As part of the Latona Leisure Group Ltd the Best Western Webbington Hotel and Spa recognises its responsibilities of Corporate Social Responsibility and to that end is actively involved in seeking and promoting measures to improve the Company impact on Society.
The major objective is to control and wherever possible, reduce carbon energy consumption.

We will continue reviewing policies to assess the impact we make and the affect our efforts are achieving in all areas.
1 WASTE MANAGEMENT
The iniatives that we are addressing:
Recycling of:
a Glass
b Paper
c Cardboard
d Ink cartridges
e Reusing paper for notes, etc. instead of new.
f Reduce the need to print off except where necessary.
2 ENERGY CONTROL
a Bedroom TVs turned off – not on ‘standby’
b Electric lighting to change to Low Energy bulbs
c Lighting and heating to be monitored/turned off where possible
d Turn down/off gas policy
e Full loads through glass/dish washers
f Recycling of cooking oil
3 ENERGY WASTE MANAGEMENT
a Pipes lagging
b Thermostats fitted and working
c Timing clocks set and monitored
d Reduce wattage where appropriate
4 LAUNDRY
a Towel usage – policy in place to offer guests the opportunity to help our objective
b Full loads in washing machines
5 LOCAL SERVICES/SUPPLIERS
a To use local where possible to reduce delivery mileage
6 POLLUTION/NOISE POLLUTION
The reduction of pollutants released into the atmosphere/environment and the reduction of noise into other peoples lives
